Christmas is a celebration of Jesus who paid the ultimate sacrifice. So on Christmas, we must put the lives of others above our own desires to be with friends and family members to honor the holiday, our love for one another and Jesus. This collective act as a community, nation and as a race, will be a beacon of hope that unites us in the future, that we can act for the greater good. If you or people around you lives have been touched by mourning and sadness this year, remember we are enduring this hardship together and physical distance is not what separates our bonds and memories with one another.
